The Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE, sometimes pronounced "pixie") is a protocol to boot computers using a network interface without the need for local storage. Starting with ThinManager 5.0 and XLi licensing, this protocol can be used to boot non-ThinManager Ready Thin Clients.
