Protocol : DHCP
IP Address Assignment -- Used by the PXE Server (if using PXE boot) (ThinManager 5.0 and later).
UDP 69
Protocol: TFTP
Used to TFTP the firmware and/or modules to ThinManager Compatible thin clients. (ThinManager 5.0 and later). Standard TFTP implementations use a different source port on the ThinManager server after the initial TFTP request - see Wikipedia article for details.
ThinManager 10 includes a version of TFTP called "Firewall Compatible TFTP", that uses only port 69.
TCP 1494
Protocol: ICA
Citrix -- Used by the ICA protocol (if using ICA instead of RDP).
UDP 1758
Protocol: Multicast TFTP
Used if MultiCasting is enabled in ThinManager.
This port is configurable by:
- Double clicking on your server name to bring up the ThinManager Server Configuration Wizard
- Click Next until you come to the Multicase Configuration page
- Click Advanced to bring up the Advanced Options
TCP 2031
Protocol: Propriety
Configuration -- Used to pass the configuration from the ThinManager Server to the terminal (connection initiated from thinclient). Also used for automatic Synchronization between ThinManager servers.
TCP 3389
Protocol: RDP
Used by the RDP protocol (if using ThinManager v2.4.1 or later). Connection is initiated by thinclient to Remote Desktop server.
UDP 4011
Protocol : DHCP
Used by the ThinManager PXE Service when a standard DHCP server is installed on the same computer as ThinManager.
This port is used when booting ThinManager Compatible PXE boot thin clients using the UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) BIOS. (ThinManager 11)
UDP 4900
Protocol: TFTP

TCP 5900
Protocol: Propriety Shadow Protocol
Used for shadowing terminals (connection initiated from ThinManager UI directly to thinclient). This can be changed on the Shadow Configuration page of the ThinManager Server Configuration Wizard.
This port is configurable by:
- Double click you server name to bring up the ThinManager Server Configuration Wizard
- Selecting Next until you come to the Shadow Configuration page.

Ping -- Used by WinTMC and Enforce Primary.
